Join Orica and manage the manufacturing and operations at our Kwinana Ferric Sulphate and Welshpool Sodium Hypochlorite manufacturing sites. You will be provided with the support, training and career growth opportunities required to be successful. This role is autonomous in nature and is responsible for providing leadership, operational and technical support to the Chemicals Australia WA manufacturing plants and warehousing operations. Integral to this role will be your ability to provide a range of engineering and technical services to support the use of Orica Chemical Australia’s internal and external customers. You will be challenged with identifying and facilitating process improvement strategies which are in line with business needs. You will also develop and maintain close relationships with 7 direct reports in this hands-on, people management position.
As the successful candidate you will have existing knowledge of chemical production technology, ideally gained within a chemical manufacturing environment. Experience gained in a graduate or similar post tertiary development program will be highly regarded as will a relevant tertiary qualification.
